On December 13th, the Brisbane office celebrated the end of the year with a fun-filled evening at Bianca’s. The team enjoyed delicious dinner, drinks, and great company—making it the perfect way to wrap up the year.
On November 5th, the Bundaberg office celebrated the Melbourne Cup with lunch, drinks, and an exciting afternoon of watching the race.
On November 21st, the Social Club group attended 'Name That Tune' at the Spotted Dog. Everyone enjoyed pizzas and drinks while testing their music knowledge. The team finished 7th overall out of 20 – great effort, team.
On December 6th, the Bundaberg team enjoyed a vibrant evening of live music by the Spargo Brothers at the Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club. Guests sipped on drinks, nibbled on canapes, and danced the night away. It was great to get together and celebrate the end of the year.
On December 13, the Gladstone team kicked off the evening with a fun-filled preshow dinner at Lightbox Espresso & Wine Bar, sharing plenty of laughs and great conversation. They then headed to the Gladstone Entertainment Centre to enjoy a lively performance of Robin Hood & the Babes in the Wood. The night was full of entertainment and laughter, leaving everyone with wonderful memories.
On January 15th, Daryl Corpe visited Gladstone office to present a tax training session to a local law firm (one of our clients), V.A.J. Byrnes Lawyers on the topic of 'Tax Considerations in the Event of Marriage or Relationship Breakdown'.
On December 6th, the Hervey Bay team spent a relaxing afternoon at Kingfisher Bay, enjoying each other’s company over drinks and delicious meals. It was another fantastic way to celebrate the end of the year.

On December 1st, we celebrated Clare Zunker 10th anniversary with us. Many of you have had the pleasure of working with Clare over the years and know firsthand just how positive and upbeat she is. Though Clare has only been with Morgans for about 5 months after being at Ulton, she has already made a remarkable impression on our clients. From remembering their names to knowing their coffee preferences and the reports they like to review, Clare’s attention to detail and genuine care have truly set her apart.
Clare is still learning the ropes in her new role at Morgans, but she’s clearly on the right path, and we’re excited to see where the future takes her. We hope she’s with us for many more years to come. Congratulations on 10 years, Clare.
On December 1st, Jacqui Selby celebrated her 10 year anniversary with Ulton. Starting in Wealth Management, Jacqui quickly transitioned to the Insights team, despite having no prior accounting experience. Her strong work ethic, drive, and adaptability allowed her to master complex tasks like Power BI data models and financial models in Castaway. She continually seeks improvement and embraces new technology, which helps keep Ulton at the forefront of the industry.

On January 12th, Connor Silcox celebrated his 10th anniversary with Ulton, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Recently, Connor transitioned from his role as Senior Accountant in Cris Kajewski’s BS7 team to Senior Tax Advisor with the Tax Advisory Group. His long involvement with tax-related initiatives, such as the tax mentor group and Foundations of Tax training, has prepared him for this new role, where he’ll have a greater impact on providing tax advice for a wider range of clients. While still working with some BS7 clients, this new role will broaden his expertise and influence.
