Join us as we take a casual stroll through the recent social events happening around the Ulton offices.
In September, our Brisbane office celebrated RSPCA Cupcake Day. For the past four years, the team, led by Natasha Cook, has proudly organised this fundraiser. This year, they raised an impressive $1,478 to support the RSPCA and the incredible work they do for animals in need.
The Brisbane office will enjoy a special visit from the RSPCA on 17 November, complete with some much-loved puppy cuddles. Be sure to check out the photos from the day on UltonTV next week!
In October, Mark McLean, Karl Brosnan and Steph Young had the privilege of attending the Get Yourself Checked Gala fundraising event in Brisbane. It was an inspiring evening dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of early detection.
Ulton is proud to support Get Yourself Checked, our 2025–26 charity beneficiary, by donating every dollar we raise over the next 12 months to help champion their cause.
In October, some of our team members celebrated Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights. Diwali is a Hindu festival, with variations also observed in other Indian religions and communities around the world. It symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, and is marked by lighting lamps, sharing sweets, and spending time with loved ones.

In October, our Brisbane office celebrated Halloween with a spooky-themed morning tea, featuring a frightful spread of treats. From creepy hands floating in the punch bowl to spooky duck decorations scattered around the room, the team went all out to make it a ghoulishly good time!
On Tuesday, 4 November, our Brisbane office celebrated the Melbourne Cup with a festive luncheon. It was a great opportunity for the team to come together, enjoy delicious food, and soak up the excitement of the race that stops the nation.
In September, Ben Flanders and Ronan Boylan went head-to-head in a scone competition to see who could bake the best batch. Ben whipped up lemonade scones, while Ronan stuck with the traditional recipe. Connor Silcox was the judge and declared it a draw; both were too good to pick a winner!
The Wealth Management team gave team morale a hearty boost by kicking off their meeting with a spirited “Arrr!” In celebration of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, they rocked up to their weekly catch-up dressed as pirates, bringing plenty of laughs and good vibes to the session.
On Sunday, 14th September, the Bundaberg Social Club hosted a cracking Family Sundae Funday at Tinaberries. The afternoon was packed with strawberry ice cream, good company, and plenty of laughs. It was a top-notch way to spend time with family and workmates, soaking up the sunshine and sweet treats.
In September, the Bundaberg office celebrated Auditor Proud Day with a morning tea featuring cake and mini hot dogs. It was a great way to recognise the hard work of our audit team and enjoy some tasty treats together.
The Bundaberg office celebrated World Financial Planning Day with a morning tea and a round of Wealth Management Bingo. From “compound interest” to “estate planning,” our bingo cards were packed with the terms the Wealth Management team use every day. Congratulations to our winners, Kate Napper, Katrin Cichon, and Kiandra Sobczak and a big thanks to the whole team for joining in the fun!
In October, some of our team members completed the 2025 Emerging Leaders program. Over two energising days at Bargara Surf Life Saving Club, our second annual program brought together a passionate group of leaders committed to investing in their growth.
Facilitated by the ever-inspiring Anne-Marie, the program explored key leadership themes from DISC communication styles and public speaking to active listening, integrity, and the power of genuine appreciation. Participants also delved into the Dale Carnegie values and reflected deeply on their own leadership impact.
At the start of November, we celebrated our accountants on International Accounting Day. The Bundaberg team marked the occasion with a morning tea to recognise their hard work and dedication.
In September, the Gladstone team got together for a friendly game of trivia and dinner. For their first time, they didn’t do too badly, finishing 4th overall! At one stage, they were even in the lead (we’ve got the photo to prove it), but were eventually knocked down by some seasoned regulars.
In October, the Gladstone team enjoyed a team dinner at Rocksalt with senior partners Daryl Corpe and Mark McLean, along with COO Ammie Cauchi. It was a great opportunity to catch up and share a fantastic meal.
Over the past couple of months, one of our Hervey Bay team members has celebrated a major milestone, purchasing their first home! A huge congratulations to Saba Siddiqui on this exciting achievement.
Congratulations to Ammie Cauchi and Kate Napper on your recent milestone anniversary.
On Sunday, 16 November, Kate celebrated five years with Ulton. She began her journey with us as a trainee accountant in the Business Services team, and over the past five years, we’ve watched her grow into a confident and capable professional. Kate has now completed her CA studies—a huge milestone that reflects her dedication and hard work.
Her commitment to our clients and her team has been outstanding, and we’re proud of everything she’s achieved so far.
On Saturday, 4 October, Ammie celebrated 15 years of service with Ulton. Ammie began her career in Corporate Services, spending her first fourteen years leading our People and Culture team with heart and dedication. Over the past year, she’s embraced a bold new challenge as Ulton’s Chief Operating Officer, continuing to make a powerful impact.
Her contribution to Ulton’s growth has been nothing short of remarkable. Ammie’s unwavering commitment, passion, and leadership never go unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she brings to the team.
