A couple of blocks back from the beachfront in Pialba, sits Ulton’s Fraser Coast office where friendliness and a can-do attitude resides in the team who work there.
Inside, the close-knit crew of 10 busily work together to provide accountancy and financial services to clients within the greater Hervey Bay region and across Queensland.
According to Client Service Assistant Renee Cullen: “If we all work together, we can reach that dream, and I feel we do that every day. I call it, one team, one dream.”
“My role is to work between our clients and accountants, it’s to make sure the office runs smoothly, and that clients consistently get the best service.”
To Renee, it’s appropriate that service is the first of Ulton’s new shared values.
“To me service means loyalty, efficiency, being proactive, realising that no job is too big and operating like a family, looking out for each other,” she said.
The culture buddy for Fraser Coast explains that providing good service goes hand-in-hand with teamwork.
“We sit down and enjoy morning tea each Tuesday and usually have a Friday afternoon wind down to finish the week off,” she said.
“We also catch up outside of work. We celebrate our wins, big and small, and our kids’ achievements. This connects us, making our work more enjoyable but I also think it helps us deliver a high standard of work for clients.”
