In December 2025, the Brisbane team came together to celebrate the end of a successful year with dinner and drinks at Biànca Restaurant. It was a great night of good food, great company and well-earned celebration.
The Brisbane team tuned in together on Wednesday 4 March to watch the Centenary Townhall, celebrating 100 years of our business. To mark the milestone, the team enjoyed cake afterwards, taking time to celebrate the moment and the journey so far.
On Wednesday, 4 March, Kylie Wright and Steph Young attended the UN Women International Women’s Day Luncheon at Brisbane City Hall. They enjoyed a lovely lunch alongside clients while listening to insightful presentations from guest speakers Jennifer Robinson, Tracey Spicer AM, Kate Jenkins AO, Daniela Gavshon and Professor Michael Flood.
The Bundaberg office wrapped up the year in true “Arr, me matey” style, celebrating with a pirate‑themed end‑of‑year event. The team swapped their usual business attire for high‑seas costumes and embraced the fun, enjoying great company, an Ulton‑style Guess Who game, and a “find the key” challenge to unlock the treasure chest. Lisa Joy, Jes Wilkinson and Louise Atkinson, along with their partners, took out the top prizes for the most creative pirate costumes, making it a memorable and laughter‑filled celebration to close out the year.
In February, several members of our Bundaberg team attended the Bulls Masters Dinner, where they had the opportunity to meet some incredible sporting legends. The evening was a fantastic experience, with one of the guest speakers proving to be a standout highlight, bringing plenty of laughter and energy to the room.
In February, the Corporate Services team came together for their team dinner at Water Street Kitchen. It was a great evening that gave everyone the chance to catch up outside of work while enjoying delicious food and drinks in a relaxed setting.

Exciting news for Adam Bargenquast and Kiandra Sobczak, who recently purchased their new home together. A wonderful milestone and an exciting new chapter for them both.
On Wednesday, 4 March, everyone tuned in to celebrate 100 years of business at our Centenary Town Hall, hearing from Daryl Corpe and Mark McLean. Daryl opened the session by sharing a snapshot of Ulton’s history, including a light‑hearted story that revealed we may be even older than first thought. Mark then spoke about some of the major projects Katrina and Kelsey have been working on for the centenary year. Attendees enjoyed a sneak peek of the new website and watched the newly released corporate video before the town hall concluded with the cutting of the cake to celebrate 100 years of Ulton — or possibly 106!
The Gladstone team enjoyed a wonderful evening, starting with a team dinner before getting creative at Floral Art. The night continued with a festive Christmas terrarium workshop, where everyone had fun crafting their own unique creations and enjoying each other’s company.
The Gladstone office recently hosted a small baby shower for Stacey Miers ahead of her parental leave. The team came together to enjoy a lovely morning tea and share their well wishes as Stacey prepares to welcome her little bundle of joy..jpg?width=412&height=549&name=Image%20(6).jpg)

In December, the Fraser Coast team celebrated the end of the year with a fun‑filled Christmas party, kicking things off with a round of mini golf before enjoying dinner and drinks together. The team also squeezed in a game of pool, making it a relaxed and enjoyable evening and a great way to wrap up the year.
This award recognises Bernard for exemplifying inspirational community leadership through more than a decade of voluntary service, guiding the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre’s growth with integrity, strategic vision and generosity. We’ve seen firsthand, especially in last year’s milestone video celebrating his 30 years with Ulton, the care, commitment and heart Bernard brings to this work every day, helping so many Fraser Coast community.
Bernard is not just a partner and mentor at Ulton, he’s a truly wonderful human being. We’re grateful to have him here, showing all of us the impact of quiet, consistent leadership and community spirit.

Congratulations to Sarah Roberts and Stephen Harris on your recent milestone anniversary.
On Sunday, 11 January, Stephen celebrated five years with Ulton. This milestone anniversary is testament to Stephen's dedication, hardwork and also the positive impact he has made amongst his colleagues and clients alike.
Stephen commenced as an Accountant based on the Fraser Coast after relocating from Adelaide. During this time he formed long term friendships with his colleagues and formed strong relationships with his clients. Stephen also successfully completed his CA during this time. In more recent years, Stephen relocated to his home town and now works remotely. Despite the relocation, friendships and client relationships built during his time on the Fraser Coast continue to flourish.
Thank you for your continued efforts, we appreciate your professionalism, reliability and good humour you bring to the workplace everyday. Stephen, its been a pleasure to watch your career grow - I hope the next 5 years are just as rewarding.

On Saturday, 7 March, Sarah celebrated 10 years of service with Ulton. As a Senior Payroll and Accounts Officer, Sarah plays a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring our payroll processes are accurate, compliant and always up to date. Her attention to detail, consistency and deep knowledge make a real difference to our people and our business.
Over the past decade, Sarah has become known not only for her professionalism and reliability, but also for her calm approach, willingness to help others and her great sense of humour, qualities that make her such a valued colleague and a pleasure to work with.
