On September 16th, Natasha Cook organised an RSPCA Cupcake Day for the Brisbane office. Tash has been fundraising to provide love, care, shelter, and warmth to innocent animals who have been mistreated or abandoned. Her goal was to raise $1,000.00, and she has surpassed this goal.
On September 27th, the Brisbane office had the most adorable visitor—Ash, a Bull Arab cross from the RSPCA! This three-year-old beauty came as a thank you for the funds raised during the September RSPCA Cupcake Day. Ash was the sweetest dog and loved treats; she even performed a few tricks for the Brisbane team!
On September 29th, the Brisbane office came together to celebrate Auditor Proud Day with a delectable assortment of treats! This festive gathering was all about honouring the invaluable contributions of our auditors, creating an atmosphere of appreciation and camaraderie. The delightful snacks brought a sweet touch to the day, turning it into a memorable celebration of teamwork and excellence to our auditors.
On October 9th, the Brisbane office celebrated World Financial Planning Day with a delightful twist, by decorating their own cupcakes! This fun and creative activity not only fostered team spirit but also brought a sweet touch to the day, emphasising the importance of financial planning in a tasty way.
The Bundaberg Social Club organised a Father's Day raffle to raise money for this year's Ulton charity beneficiary. This raffle raised a total of $100.00, bringing the overall amount raised by the Social Club to $397.00. Congratulations to Kelsey Redshaw on your win!
Another amazing turnout for Ulton Race Day! The "pretty in pink" theme came together beautifully. The food was delicious, the drinks flowed throughout the day, and laughter and smiles were everywhere. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to greet guests, sell raffle tickets, sell punters' podium shares, assist with fashions on the field, and handle the many other jobs that made the day run smoothly. Everyone looked absolutely fabulous!

Recently, our bookkeeping, business services, superannuation, and wealth management teams came together for their annual team dinner at Water St Kitchen. This was a fantastic chance for everyone to unwind, celebrate their accomplishments, and build stronger connections. With a delicious meal and lively conversation, the gathering not only highlighted the hard work of our teams but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie that will carry into the year ahead.

On October 18th, team members and their families gathered for a delightful event with the Bundaberg social club. Everyone enjoyed a few rounds of bowls, creating wonderful memories together and strengthening their bonds with one another.
On October 25, Morgans hosted a successful luncheon at the prestigious Tattersalls Club in Brisbane. The event featured three distinguished guest speakers: Robert Milner, Michael Knox, and Kylie Wright. The day was a great success, with attendees enjoying excellent food and engaging conversation, making it a memorable occasion for all involved.

On August 28th, The Gladstone team had a late EOFY celebration at the Gladstone Yacht Club. It was the first time the entire team (including girls on maternity leave) were all together for quite a while so it was good to catch up.

The Gladstone office attended a fabulous jazz night to celebrate Angie Jenvey's maternity leave. They all enjoyed smooth tunes and great company, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. This special evening was a wonderful send-off, honouring Angie’s exciting new chapter while bringing everyone together for a night of fun and connection.
A local businesswoman has launched a new monthly networking event called WILLOW—Women Interconnected, Learning, Leading, Offering Wisdom. The Gladstone team had the pleasure of attending for the first time in October.
On October 5th, Trish and Helen attended the annual Bella the Brave fundraiser, organised by Ulton client Robyn Bates. This event raises money for childhood brain cancer research and was inspired by Robyn's daughter, Bella, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer called anaplastic ependymoma at just 13 months old in 2016. This year's fundraiser successfully raised $45,000.

On October 23rd, Angie welcomed her little bundle of joy, baby Harvey James Boast, into the world at 6:27PM. Congratulations to Angie and Matt on the beautiful addition to their family. Wishing them all the best as they embark on this exciting new chapter together!

On October 12th, the Hervey Bay office participated in a lively Parkrun, tackling a 5km walk/run together! After crossing the finish line, everyone celebrated their achievements by enjoying a delicious breakfast. It was a fantastic way to promote fitness and team spirit.
Natalie Macdonald had the privilege of presenting a $20,000 donation to the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre’s Comfort Kitchen. These funds will directly support the provision of over 100 meals per week for individuals in the Hervey Bay community who are facing financial and social challenges.

On November 9th, Stacey Harrison marked an impressive milestone, completing 15 years of service with the Ulton Tax Advisory team. Stacey is an invaluable member of our team, consistently providing expert assistance to the Business Services teams while also delivering complex tax advice across a broad range of topics.
Over the past six months, Stacey has stepped into a management role and is now a Senior Tax Advisor within the Tax Advisory team, further demonstrating her growth and leadership abilities.
Stacey is always a willing contributor and brings a positive, "can-do" attitude to every challenge. Thank you, Stacey, for your dedication and continued commitment to Ulton. 
On October 10th, Bernard Whebell completed 30 years of service with the Ulton Audit & Forensics Services team. Bernie began at Hancock Sawyer and Partners, the name of the Firm in 1994, like many as a graduate accountant after working in Brisbane for a couple of years. Bernie started in business services; but quickly moved to work in our audit team.
Since that time Bernie’s interest in and capability with respect to audit assurance work has led to him being the Audit Partner of Ulton.
Bernie is highly respected within the Audit professional community working collaboratively with a number of other firms on various audit assignments.
In recent years Bernie has also achieved the necessary accreditation to be a Forensic Accountant and has over the years provided valuable advice with respect to the valuation of businesses, or interests in businesses.
Although located in our Fraser Coast office Bernie is an invaluable part of the Ulton Team providing important advice to our clients and to the firm.
Bernie’s expertise in relation to large companies, accounting, and audit standards as well as Corporations Law enables Ulton to grow with our clients.
Bernie’s on-going contribution to the growth of Ulton is one of the many things that makes Ulton great. Thank you Bernie for your long professional association and commitment to Ulton and your clients.
